Large buckets of money are always welcome, but more valuable than that is your time to help a new HAM. We are always eager to find people who can mentor beginners of all ages with all levels of competency.
Some criteria you might consider is:
Do I have my FCC Amateur radio license?
Am I patient?
Am I willing to travel with-in the state to help?
