The goal of the Indiana Elmer Network is to help new hams get a grip on the basic operating concepts of Amateur radio before they become so frustrated that they give up. Whether it be installing antennas,setting up stations, helping with grounding issues or tips and tricks to operating your station, we have Elmers with experiences in almost everything.
Ham radio is a fascinating hobby and we want to see every new ham have a positive experience. We are here to guide you,encourage you , but not to do everything for you !
As one of our admins would say, ” he learns something new whenever he helps someone”.
